The claims that the Prophet Muhammad suffered from epilepsy rests on a number of shaky assumptions not supported by medical research. They are based solely on the many different descriptions of his state during his reception of revelation. First, the Prophet first received revelation when he was forty years old. This would mean that the Prophet suddenly developed epilepsy later in life as it has never been reported that he suffered from such experiences before.  This is highly unlikely from a medical perspective.

The Orientalists allege that Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, (may Allaah exalt his mention) was subject to the Judeo-Christian influence of his time and that the Quran reflects this influence. It was suggested that Prophet Muhammad, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, had faced two big problems if he were to embrace Judaism or Christianity. If he became a Christian, he would be bringing in the Christian Byzantine regime to Makkah, which would not be tolerated by the people of Makkah.

He, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, was especially fond of children and used to get into the spirit of childish games in their company. He, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, would have fun with the children who had come back from Abyssinia and tried to speak in Abyssinian with them. It was his practice to give lifts on his camel to children when he returned from journeys. [Al-Bukhaari]

The truth about Voltaire’s attitude towards Prophet Muhammad and his message

The truth about Voltaire’s attitude towards Prophet Muhammad and his message

Initially, we, as Muslims,  recognize the greatness of Prophet Muhammad and his sublime status, by virtue of which he needs no glorification by humans after Allah  commended him and raised his unmatched status. . It was the Divine will, however, which made some non-Muslims testify in favor of the Prophet with truthfulness and justice.

François-Marie Aroue (1694 – 1778), better known by the penname Voltaire, is a case in point. In 1742 he wrote “Fanaticism”, a play where he attacked Islam, and claimed that women are forced to accept the Islamic faith. He also raised doubts about the talk of Prophet Muhammad (may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with Gabriel (Jibreel), (peace be upon him)  and he (i.e. Voltaire) provided an abusive portrayal of the Messenger of Allah. One year after publication, the play was banned because the Church had reservations concerning the content. The Church thought that Voltaire wanted to criticize it from the Islamic perspective.

Question:
I believe for sure that Rasulu'LLah Muhammad(swa) Is the best of all the prophets(asw) . But is there any envidence in the Quran or Sunna to support this ? There is an aya in quran which says 'we(i) don't diffetiance(nufariq) amoung them(the prophets).

Answer:

Praise be to Allaah.

(1) Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“We make no distinction between one another of His Messengers”

[al-Baqarah 2:285].

Ibn Katheer said in his Tafseer of this aayah:

Why do we have to love the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) more than any other person?

Question:
Why do we have to love, obey, follow and venerate our Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) the most (or more than any other person)?.

Answer:
Praise be to Allaah.

1 – Allaah has commanded us to obey the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

It has become clear and self-evident that the battle between the Prophets and their adversaries was actually centered around this great pillar – the Tawhid of Allah, and singling Allah out with the entirety of worship acts. This battle was never about secondary juridical differences, or about elements of legal intricacies, or about an issue for independent judgment. Instead, we recognize that the laws of the Prophets themselves were numerous, each according to the time, place, and those addressed.

The orientalists allege that the Prophet (Peace and Blessings be upon him) was worried about the enmity of the non-believers in Makkah. In such a state of mind one day went to Kaba where he recited to the gathering of believers and non-believers Surah al-Najm 53 which is said to have been revealed at that time.

The allegation is that in the course of its recitation and when he uttered the verse 19-20 Do you see al Lat and al Uzza and the other third Manat? Satan threw in the couplet Those are the swans exalted; verily their intercession is to be expected.
