- من فضائل السحور :
العون على العبادة واتباع السنة واستثمار ذلك الوقت المبارك في الدعاء والاستغفار وتمييز صيام أهل الإسلام عن صيام أهل الكتاب قبلنا فقد كانوا يمسكون عند النوم ولايتسحرون والتسبب في حضور صلاة الفجر مع الجماعة . كل ذلك وغيره دل عليه قوله: تسحروا فإن في السحور بركة.متفق عليه
