The Sealed Nectar

The Sealed Nectar by Shaykh Safi ur-Rahman

Prophet Muhammad's manners and disposition

Allah Says (what means): "By the grace of Allah, you are gentle towards the people; if you had been stern and ill-tempered, they would have dispersed from round about you" [Quran, 3: 159]

About himself the prophet  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ) said: "Allah has sent me as an apostle so that I may demonstrate perfection of character, refinement of manners and loftiness of deportment." [Maalik and Ahmad]

The Prophet Muhammad: A Mercy for all Creation

Allah's Messenger  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ) was the kindest of men in the same way as he excelled all others in courage and valour. Being extremely kind-hearted, his eyes brimmed with tears at the slightest sign of inhumanity. A Companion, Shaddaad bin 'Aws, may Allah be pleased with him, reported the Apostle as saying: “Allah has commanded you to show kindness to everyone, so if you have to kill, kill in a good manner, and if you slaughter an animal, slaughter it gently.

A Glimpse of Paradise - II

Allah The Almighty has created Paradise for His believing slaves; He has created in it pleasures that no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard of, and no mind could ever comprehend. Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrated that the Messenger of Allah  sallallaahu  `alayhi  wa  sallam ( may  Allah exalt his mention ) said: “Allah, the Exalted, has said: `I have prepared for my righteous slaves (in Paradise) what no eye has seen, no ear has heard, and the mind of no man has conceived.`” [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]

A Glimpse of Paradise - II

The greatest pleasure of the dwellers of Paradise will be the sight of their Lord. When the dwellers of Paradise see Him, they will forget everything, including all the types of pleasure that they had previously enjoyed.

The bounty of seeing Allah in Paradise is one of its distinct features, and is a means of Allah The Almighty honoring its dwellers:

{“[Some] faces, that Day, will be radiant, Looking at their Lord.”} [Quran, 75: 22-23]

This is Makkah

The Honourable Makkah, the Sacred and Secure valley on earth; Allah has distinguished it from among all places and made it sacred from the day He created the heavens and the earth.

Allah commanded Prophet Ibraheem, may Allah exalt his mention, to build the first House on earth for Allah to be worshipped in at this spot and sent down the Black Stone from Paradise as a manifest sign of the sanctity of His Sacred House.

Remedies for the heart are within the Quran

Allah Almighty Says in the Quran (what means): “We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers.” [Quran 17:82] And also (what means): “O mankind! There has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.” [Quran 10:57]
